twice annually in early spring
and again in the fall.
Corn Gluten Meal may be added up
to 60# per 1000 square feet, to
all gardens and landscapes once
per month. Rake in lightly and
water, then allow to dry for a
couple days. This forms a weed
barrier. This is a natural
weed pre-emergent control.
Caution:
Spills
should be raked out into the
surrounding soil, so a layer of
moldy corn meal doesn't become
offensive as it breaks down.
Do not use in rows where you are
trying to start seeds. Keep in
mind that it will also inhibit
seeds establishing. They will
sprout and die.
